Privacy notice · updated 13 October 2026

Your information stays focused on your plan.

This notice explains the information MyPocketPT uses to create and operate personalised fitness, meal and shopping plans.

MyPocketPT is a trading name of FARR WELLNESS TECHNOLOGIES LTD. Company number: 17478377. Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Email: support@mypocketpt.com.

Who is responsible for your information

FARR WELLNESS TECHNOLOGIES LTD, trading as MyPocketPT at the address above, is the data controller. Contact support@mypocketpt.com for privacy requests.

Information we use

Account information includes your name, email address and customer identifiers. Plan information can include age, calculation sex, height, weight, goals, activity, fitness ability, equipment, exercise preferences, limitations, food preferences, allergens, postcode, check-ins and completion history.

We receive subscription status and transaction identifiers from payment providers. MyPocketPT does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

If you arrive through a creator link, we record that creator code with your account and paid membership so we can measure the referral and calculate the creator partnership. Creators receive aggregated referral and commission information, not your health answers.

For creators we also store your social profile URL, programme terms acceptance, code, referral totals and commission review/payment records. A referral link is remembered in your browser for up to 30 days. We retain a pseudonymous email fingerprint and offer redemption record to prevent repeated first-year discounts, including after account deletion. These records are used for offer administration and abuse prevention, not advertising profiles. Contact us to discuss retention or exercise your privacy rights.

For the new Founding Creator acquisition window, we record verified account-creation, referral-attribution and first-paid-subscription dates to determine eligibility. Creators see aggregate qualifying, awaiting-payment and outside-window counts, not customer identities or intake answers. Payment and review records remain subject to the retention and safeguards described here.

Why we use it

Optional first-party marketing measurement is used only with your consent. We remember allowlisted campaign labels and a random browser identifier for up to 30 days. If you register on that browser, we link the labels to account creation, plan readiness, website checkout and a verified initial website payment. Reports are aggregated and never contain health answers. No advertising pixels or cross-device profiling are used. Choose “Measurement preferences” to decline or withdraw and delete that browser’s measurement record. Account deletion also removes linked measurement records. This is separate from creator discount and commission administration.

We use this information to provide your requested plan, calculate nutrition and training targets, generate shopping lists, locate nearby supermarkets, save progress, operate customer support, manage memberships, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.

Some information can reveal health or fitness details and may be special-category data under UK data-protection law. Where required, MyPocketPT asks for explicit consent before using this information for a personalised plan. You can withdraw consent by deleting your account, although that means the personalised service cannot continue.

The main lawful bases are performance of the membership contract for account, plan and billing administration; explicit consent for health-related information used to personalise a plan; legitimate interests for service security, fraud prevention and essential support; and legal obligation where records must be retained by law.

Meal preferences and optional product learning

Explicit taste ratings are remembered against your own customer account across programmes to help select future recipes. A partner’s taste ratings are not copied into your personal memory. Allergies and declared ingredient restrictions always override recipe ranking. Programme recipe exclusions remain programme-specific. You can forget remembered taste ratings in Meal learning preferences without changing current meals, declared restrictions or your membership; account deletion removes this memory.

Overall product learning is separately optional and off by default. If you explicitly agree in Meal learning preferences, feedback and check-ins submitted after that agreement—including goal category, reported adherence, hunger and energy—may contribute to administrator-only group reports. These reports omit groups smaller than 10 users and do not expose customer identifiers, notes, exact weights or imported watch readings. Repeated check-ins are averaged per customer before group comparison. These reports show associations, not proof that a particular plan caused an outcome.

Group reports may support reviewed, versioned recipe-ranking improvements for future generated plans. They do not automatically change calorie targets, safety rules or existing meals, and are not used to train a third-party AI model. Withdraw consent in Meal learning preferences to exclude your account from future reports. Previously approved group-level ranking releases and their non-identifying evidence may remain. Personal adaptation continues if you decline or withdraw overall learning consent.

Optional watch and health syncing

Where available in your installed mobile release, you can separately choose to connect Apple Health or Android Health Connect. Device permission and explicit agreement to upload data are both required. You choose whether to share daily steps, estimated active calories, recorded sleep duration, resting heart rate and recorded workouts. Syncs check the past 14 days; imported summaries and workouts are retained for up to 90 days and then removed by scheduled retention processing.

This connection is read-only. We do not collect workout GPS routes, clinical records or raw continuous heart-rate readings, or write data back to your health app. Imported data is private to your own MyPocketPT account, including on a couples membership; it is not shared with your partner or creators, used for advertising, sent to Pocket Coach, or used to train AI. This first version provides a private activity history, not automatic changes to dietary or training targets.

Health readings are encrypted in the database, with encryption keys held separately by the server. Access requires your verified login identity and customer record; a couples membership does not grant access to another person’s readings. Limited connection and timing metadata remains available to the service for ownership, syncing and retention. Readings are not written to application logs or offline plan caches.

Syncing happens when you open or return to the app, or request a manual sync, not continuously in the background. Availability depends on your permissions and what your watch or companion app writes to the phone’s health store. Estimates can differ between sources; missing or denied readings are not treated as zero. On iOS we use a conservative single-source total rather than adding phone and watch totals together.

You can withdraw this separate consent and delete imported data in Account → Connect watch & health data → Stop syncing and delete imported data. This does not delete your plan, cancel a subscription, or alter data in Apple Health or Health Connect. Signing out stops syncing on that phone; enabling it again requires an explicit connection step. Device read permissions can also be withdrawn in Apple Health or Health Connect. Account deletion removes the connection and its imported data. Contact support@mypocketpt.com for a copy of your imported information.

Deletion and retention removal apply to the live service. Encrypted residual copies may remain for up to 30 further days in restricted disaster-recovery history. They are not used for normal service; before any restored database can serve customers, withdrawals, account deletions and retention removals must be reapplied.

Services that help operate MyPocketPT

Hosting and database providers process account and plan data. Stripe, Apple, Google and RevenueCat may process membership information. Postcodes.io and Food Standards Agency services receive a postcode or derived location when you ask for nearby stores. OpenAI may process a Pocket Coach question and limited plan context when that feature is enabled; requests are configured not to be stored for model training by the application.

If you enable plan-ready push notifications in the app, we store its device notification token and use Expo and Apple or Google to deliver a generic update. These notifications do not include your health information. You can turn notifications off in your device settings; device registrations are removed when your account is deleted.

We do not sell health or fitness information or use it for advertising.

Storage, security and retention

Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is restricted to what is needed to operate and support the service. Account and plan information is retained while the account remains open. When an account is deleted, associated plan and progress data is deleted unless limited records must be kept for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes.

The website uses essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember the current session. A creator referral code may also be kept for up to 30 days so it can be attached if you create an account. Hosting and security providers may also set strictly necessary security cookies. MyPocketPT does not currently use advertising cookies.

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, MyPocketPT requires an applicable UK adequacy mechanism or approved contractual safeguards from the provider.

How personalisation works

MyPocketPT uses the answers you provide to calculate targets and select meals and workouts under programmed safety limits. This personalisation does not make legal or similarly significant decisions about you. You can contact support if a result appears incorrect and can delete the saved plan from Account.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may complain to the UK Information Commissioner. Use the Account screen to delete an account or email support@mypocketpt.com.
